It's hard to believe Miss Piper is 7 already! AND...It's hard to find a birthday place open in the afternoon on December 24th! We ended up at Chuck E Cheeses and had a great time! Our guest list included: Granny & PawPaw, Lani, Tanner & Becca, Joyce, Jill & Shannon and Kelly & Michael. Piper didn't want cake -- she only wanted rainbow sherbet. (easy enough!) We stopped at Wal-Mart to pick up the ice cream on the way to the party. The lady checking was talking about it being Christmas Eve and Piper says "it's not Christmas Eve --- it's my BIRTHDAY!" Everyone around that could hear -- was laughing and wishing Piper happy birthday! cute cute!!! We haven't had a friends party yet we will do that in January.
look for new birthday pictures then!

Holiday in the Park
Christmas was in the air at Six Flags this weekend! We took the kids out of school early on Friday to head to Arlington. This is the first time we went to Holiday in the Park -- but it won't be the last!
There was a chill in the air and very few people! It was awesome! We only stood in the Tony Hawk line for about 15 minutes -- other than that we walked right up to the rides and got on! Roller coasters and cool air make for a chilly ride though! I was pretty cold -- go figure! haha There was even a sledding hill -- it was man made ice-- but none the less fun!
The park was covered in twinkle lights and the smell of hot cocoa, spiced cider and roasted nuts were at every corner! The kids got to visit with Santa. They said they wanted it all! Santa told them to leave peanut butter cookies this year! (Picky old guy!) We met Trent, Aly and Trent's friend Erik there. It was a great time!
Saturday night we went to the annual Bowerman Christmas party. Jill and Shannon have a great party house and their friends are tons of fun to hang out with! After we ate as much food as we could stand and more -- we headed upstairs to the bar and ping pong table.... There was a little tourney --- I think I would have done better if I had not had those beers and champagne punch first! haha
The kids love Jill and Shannon and didn't want to come home -- but the Bowerman's will be here for Christmas and we can play more then!
Have a great week and may you get lots done!

The Undefeated Bulls
Our team was also asked to play in the place of a 5th grade team that couldn't make their last 2 games..... They did well -- they lost to a 6th grade team 28-26 in the last seconds of the game and won against a 5th grade team 44 to 6!!! These boys are just awesome! It's so much fun to watch them play!
The Bulls get a break now -- the next club season will start in January!

Club Basketball
We have moved into Club Basketball Season for Jordan now! We are playing in a league in Dumas. We play 2 games each Saturday and the boys are averaging about 85 points per game! It's unbelievable!!! This is a picture from their first game with the score behind them -- 94-4! They are so much fun to watch -- it's hard to believe they are only 4th graders! This will be our last weekend in Dumas and then we start YMCA Club ball in January!
