We spent Halloween in Ft Worth. Our dear friends, Trent and Aly tied the knot on Oct 31st! Doug drove down on Tuesday and I flew in on Thursday. As soon as my plane landed (late due to weather delays... ugh!) the party was in full swing! Thursday night the boys went and did their thing and Aly and I had a quiet dinner with her parents! Friday was the rehersal and the pumpkin carving/ cook out.
They were married in a beautiful chapel that was packed with friends and family in the afternoon of Halloween.
A costume reception followed that night.... Capt Morgan is the Groom , Trent and Geoff and Doug were the best men.... dressed as really bad groomsmen!!! The theme was bad bridesmaids and groomsmen.... The costumes were off the hook! What a fun time was held by all! Doug and I decided to go as the Redneck Couple..... matching camo shirt and dress. Doug sported a mullet... I'm glad he doesn't like his hair long!!!
Trent's sister, Lisa, wanted to be part of his "wedding party" too.... hairy chest and all..... hahaha
We really had a good time!!! Had to come home and detox though! There seemed to always be a drink in my hand from the time I woke up til the time my head hit the pillow! This party/wedding will not be forgotten! Congrats Trent and Aly.... wishing you happily ever after!
